The course, opened in 1998, is in the heart of the main tourist area of Playa de Las Américas and Los Cristianos. It is set in a beautiful natural gently sloping amphitheatre and is sheltered from the wind to one side by the hills, while the other side offers views of Playa de Las Americas and out over the sea. It is a fairly modest 6600 yards in length and a par 72.
The 18-hole course is arranged as two returning loops of nine holes and each loop consists of two par threes, two par fives and five par fours. Around the course you will find the most typical trees and flowers of the island: several kinds of palm trees and dragon trees.
The land gently slopes towards the coast with the front nine holes being a little hillier than the back nine. Water hazards present at several holes but do not dominate play. The course is located in quite a tight piece of land between several roads and is surrounded by apartments and villas, some of the holes run close to each other.
The course gives spectacular views of the sea, the island of La Gomera, Playa de las Américas and the mountains of Adeje which gives the club its name.
