The original 9-hole Golf Son Parc Menorca was opened in 1977, in 2006 the course was redesigned by the well-known golf architect Dave Thomas, the ex-Ryder Cup player and is now an 18-hole par 69 5,200 meter (approx. 5,700 yard) course.
The course, whilst relatively flat, is very tricky (indeed difficult on windy days), it has narrow fairways which are lined by pine trees.
You have on one side of the course an extensive wetland area, whilst tricky bunkers and lakes abound. For the bird lovers you have wild cranes and a colony of Peacocks to distract you from your golf!!
