Rayong is around 40 minutes from Pattaya and 2 hours from Bangkok. The course is located in a rural area near Rayong, surrounded by hills. It's an excellent choice for those who want to stay at the course overnight because it has an on-site golf lodge with leisure facilities. The St Andrews 2000 Golf Club and the Rayong Green Valley Country Club are both located near Silky Oak. The primary tree placed across the golf course is a natural Australian tree that looks like a pine and has the same name as the golf course. The backside of the leaf is a silver grey tint that catches the light and looks nice in the breeze.
