Location: Past Waterside Course towards Chee Chan
On the approach to Chee Chan Mountain, the Rolling Hills Course of the Siam Country Club is 2.5 kilometres past the Waterside Course. The world-famous design firm Schmidt-Curley Design, lnc, used classic characteristics more often found on mature parkland courses that have endured the test of time. On relatively level territory, the front nine moves away from the clubhouse. The land has a more open feel to it, with less greenery or huge trees. Hole 5 is unique in that it features two greens that alternate in length and difficulty. Several others on this nine offer different approaches to the green depending on how aggressive you want to be in attacking the pins. There are severe run-offs on most greens, so a sensible pin attack angle is critical. The risk and reward here create unique scoring opportunities.
