Sea Pines Golf Course (also known as Army Golf Club II) is located in Suan Son Pradiphat, Thailand, along the Gulf of Thailand (Sea Pine Tree Garden). The Hua Hin golf course track was previously controlled by the Royal Forestry Department until being taken over by the Royal Thai Army under Field Marshall Sarit Thanarat, who served as Prime Minister of Thailand from 1957 to 1963.
The majority of the Sea Pines area is covered in bracken pine trees, which are complemented by the natural splendor of the water and mountains. The army built the facility as a getaway for serving soldiers and veterans, as well as their families.
Palm Hills Golf Club is located in the lower foothills of Hua Hin, near to Hua Hin city and the Hua Hin airport. It was the first international-level golf course in Hua Hin, and it initially opened in 1992. Palm Hills hosted the inaugural Thailand World Pro-Am tournament the following year. The golf course is set on a broad swath of undulating terrain, giving the holes a Scottish 'links' feel that sets it apart from the other courses in the vicinity.
