Santo Antonio Golf Resort

The Santo António Golf & Spa Resort nestles in the hilly landscape of the far west Algarve bordering the Costa Vicentina Nature Reserve, a 14 km drive from Lagos. The most westerly of the Algarve courses, Santo António has been carved out of the hills, creating a real roller coaster ride (and what a ride!!) that takes you across chasms, lakes and creeks. Meandering through the undulating terrain this golf course, an 18-hole par 71 5,500 meters (approx. 6,000 yards), offers real variety, with no two holes alike. You can enjoy fantastic views of the surrounding Algarve countryside and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. This course is a really spectacular and fun golf course (previously known as Parque da Floresta) which opened in 1987 and was designed by Pepe Gancedo, one of Spain’s most renowned architects.
