Designer: A.O. Robins
Established: 1924
Location: In town and next to Hua Hin Railway Station
Royal Hua Hin is Thailand's oldest 18-hole international standard course, and it's only 5 minutes from Hua Hin's downtown. The golf course was built in 1924 to cater to the needs of British railway workers and Thai aristocracy who lived in the region.
The Royal Hua Hin Golf Club is located directly across from the town's railway station. A Scottish train engineer designed the course. The Hua Hin golf course is a conventional older British golf course design built on natural terrain and nestled between some stunning rocky hills. Several of the holes have excellent views over the Gulf of Thailand and the city centre.
