It's easy to see why this Phuket golf course was given the name Red Mountain. It's more difficult to fathom how such a dynamically undulating setting, dominated by soft red granite and dense rainforest, could be converted into a challenging yet playable layout. The Red Mountain Golf Course, which first opened in 2007, is widely regarded as Phuket's most beautiful golf course. The course was built to take use of a wide range of landforms and dramatic elevation variations, making it Phuket's most hilly.
