The Plutaluang Royal Thai Navy Golf Course, first inaugurated in 1969, is located 30 minutes south of Pattaya in Sattahip. The Royal Thai Navy's 36-hole pride was built to take advantage of the natural beauty of the location. Plutaluang is a must-play for nature enthusiasts, set in a beautiful valley with mature trees of all kinds. It was built around a large natural reservoir just after the Vietnam War and is full of beautiful flowers, birds, and little woodland critters. Furthermore, local monkeys abound, rummaging through the fruits and seeds that come and go with the seasons.
