Alto Golf & Country Club-Pestana Group 

Located in Western Algarve on the edge of the beautiful fishing village of Alvor and set in picturesque landscaped gardens, with villas, apartments and townhouses, Alto Golf & Country Club was the last course designed by the legendary Sir Henry Cotton and opened in 1997. The winding fairways and elevated greens on this par 73 6,100 meters (approx. 6,700 yards) course will test all abilities of golfers. It features the 600-meter par 5 known as the "Sir Henry challenge". Once the longest holes in Europe and not surprisingly is still a challenge!
