The Lanna Golf Club is spread out over 700 rai. The course is 10 minutes from Chiang Mai's downtown area and is part of the Lanna Sports Center. Lanna was one of Thailand's first golf courses, and it is still quite popular among locals.
The condition is good, but not quite up to the standards of the area's newer courses. The 2nd is a standout because it requires you to decide how far you want to play your tee ball down a narrowing fairway with water left. The 5th hole is a tough one, requiring a precise approach shot for a chance at par or birdie.
