Palm Hills Golf Club is located in the lower foothills of Hua Hin, near to the Hua Hin city and the Hua Hin airport. It was the first international level golf course in Hua Hin, and it initially opened in 1992. Palm Hills hosted the inaugural Thailand World Pro-Am tournament the following year. The golf course is set on a broad swath of undulating terrain, giving the holes a Scottish 'links' feel that sets it apart from the other courses in the vicinity.
The Max Wexler design runs from east to west, with lakes at either end, the clubhouse in the middle, and an unusual rocky outcrop jutting out from the mountain range.
