Glenbervie Golf Club is a relatively new club by British standards but has fitted a lot into its mere 80+ year history. From being designed by the famous James Braid to having John Panton, one of the UK's most successful golfers as the Golf Professional for almost 40 years, to presenting Jose-Maria Olazabal with his first UK Tournament win, some of the biggest names in golf have graced the fairways and greens.
As a testimony to the quality, of the course, many major Tournaments have been played at Glenbervie during the history including The Boys Amateur Championship, The Scottish Professional Championship, The Scottish Youths Amateur Stroke Play Championship and the SGU Club Championships.
