Fontanals Golf de Cerdanya course is recognised as one of the best golf courses in Spain. Designed by Mr. Ramón Espinosa on this 18-hole par 72 6,500 meters (approx. 7100 yards), the front 9 holes have a traditional style, and the back 9 are more modern US-style. Fairways are relatively wide with little in the way of rough. However, water comes into play on several holes from the numerous lakes and streams. Well, thought-out bunkers will test both expert and novice golfers alike. It is a course that offers a unique gaming experience for each level of play.

The last three holes will define your round as they are quite tough. 

Hole 16 as stroke index 1 would suggest, is really something, a longish par 4 (400 yards plus) with an island green with water to front and left and bunkers to the right!!

Hole 17 is a long par 3 (200 yards plus).

Hole 18 is an even longer par 4 (430 yards plus) which doglegs right slightly uphill to a green protected with bunkers to the front.
