This gently undulating 18-hole course blends beautifully into the Algarve landscape. Its lakes, streams, whilst making your life hell on the course are visually stunning. The views are wonderful as you are surrounded by open countryside and vineyards with views to the Monchique Mountains in the distance. The close proximity to Luz and Lagos offers a very special location.
Without doubt this is a tough par 72 course at little over 5,850 metres (approx. 6,400 yards). Its not that long but maybe leave the driver in the bag on most holes!! With tight tree-lined fairways, accuracy of the tee is essential. Carefully placed bunkers around the large undulating greens require accuracy at all times.
Some high-lights include the par five first, dropping some 80 feet from the tee before rising back to the same height at the green, gives golfers an insight into the style of golf at Espiche Golf course. The third provides the sternest test on the front nine at 409 meters (approx. 450 yards) and uphill all the way!!
The par five tenth is one of the finest in all the Algarve and challenges you to negotiate the progressively tighter fairway as you get closer to the green.
