The Emerald Golf Club is a true country club. The course, originally known as Ban Chang and then Rayong Century Golf Club, is nestled in the highlands just outside of Rayong. One of Pattaya's lesser-known golf courses is the Emerald Golf Club. The Emerald was designed by two well-known golf architects and is a true work of art.
Desmond Muirhead and Nick Faldo The 18-hole layout winds its way through a beautiful rainforest of mature trees that give a haven for a variety of native wildlife. The Emerald's mild yet stunning fairway contours, volcanic-like greens, tricky par-3's, and subtle water placements all combine to make it one of Thailand's most demanding golf courses. Unlike many of the other Pattaya golf courses, driving accuracy is favoured over length as there is a considerable premium when hitting the fairways.
