The 27-hole Castro Marim Golf Course is located north of the town of the same name in the eastern Algarve next to the boarder to Spain. It is conveniently located just off the N22 motorway. It has three 9-hole courses, The Guadiana, The Atlantic, and The Grouse. All three courses enjoy views to the River Guadiana and across to Spain. The Castro Marim Golf Course is a thinking golfers’ course, as gung-ho golf will just not work!!

The courses are teeming with wildlife including wild boar, birds and rabbits. Some lucky property owners have even spotted the elusive Iberian Lynx on The Grouse Course when playing early in the morning.

The Grouse Course, par 36 3,000 meters (approx. 3,300 yards) is the newest of the three nine holes with the more open far-reaching inland hill views. Although it only opened in 2008 it is already nicely mature. It has rolling terrain with fewer trees than the other two courses. 

The Guadiana Course, par 36 2,700 meters (approx. 3,000 yards) is a delight, set amongst attractive pine trees. Fast and true greens, several of them elevated and protected by bunkers, inviting elevated tees and dogleg fairways carved out of canyons are features of the course. 

The Atlantico Course, par 35 2,700 meters (approx. 3,000 yards) is lined with attractive pine trees fairways.
