Cardigan Golf Club was founded in 1895 and is situated less than 3 miles from the town centre.
The course is built on elevated ground with spectacular views of Cardigan Bay from every hole. The course is a par 72 6,450 yards from the back tees and mainly links with good natural drainage allowing year round golf. The fairways follow natural humps and hollows and are mostly edged with gorse.
In recent years considerable improvements have taken place on the course and a number of the original 18 holes have been improved or altered. Many greens have been enlarged, bunkered or banked. New tees have been built or extended on every hole on the course.
Since its early days thousands of golfers have walked the turf of Cardigan Golf Club deriving huge pleasure from this delightful course and wonderful views.
