Benamor Golf is a superb par 71 5,500 metres (approx. 6,000 yards) 18-hole course located on the Algarve just a few kilometres east of the ancient city of Tavira. The golf course, completed in the spring of 2000, was designed by Sir Henry Cotton. The views of the mountains to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the south are simply stunning. 

This is a delightful golf course, which offers a wonderful playing experience to all standard of golfers. The course is undulating but not hilly, whilst the water hazards and bunkers are located to catch out the unwary (or just foolish!!) golfer. The indigenous olive, cork, carob, fig and almond trees, many centuries old, feature on most holes and will test your strategy and shot-making ability.
