Antalya Golf Club – The Pasha Course
The Pasha is well-known for its stunning location. The course takes you through crystal clear lakes and it borders the famous pine forests of the area, with the spectacular snow-capped Toros Mountains visible in the distance.
Designed by David Jones in 2002, the Pasha course is a Par 72 5731 meters (approx. 6,300 yards) on relatively flat terrain with tree-lined fairways. As a relatively short course The Pasha, you may think that pasha would be an easy course to overpower. Do not be fooled you will be met by tricky doglegs, cunningly placed bunkers and greens that will demand your full attention and a hot putter!!
The shorter length coupled with generous fairways will not unfairly punish the higher handicapper for any wayward shots.
Antalya Golf Club – The Sultan Golf Course
The Sultan Golf Course is longer than The Pasha and like its sister course has a stunning location.
Designed by David Jones this par 72 6,400 meters (approx. 7,000 yards) is an undulating tree lined parkland course with some unforgettable golf holes that will offer golfers of all abilities a great challenge. Four big lakes and 67 bunkers play a big role on many of the holes and keeping out of them will determine who buys the drinks at the end!! As the course is lined with eucalyptus and pine trees your senses will be almost overwhelmed.
The front nine of the Sultan course ends with the ultimate risk-reward hole, a par 4 362 yards, named teasingly enough ‘The Choice’. A brave tee shot must flirt with water on the left to set up an easier second shot while a safer drive down to the right will result in adding two clubs to the approach shot.
Standing on the final hole on the course, a par 4 448 yards, with a good score in your back pocket, will have your knees knocking!! You need to plot your route to the green carefully with water either side of the fairway an accurate tee shot is essential. Do not relax as a loss of concentration will have in in one of the five green side bunkers.
