Created originally from flat rice paddy fields and turned into a hilly and undulating layout, Alpine Golf Club is one of Thailand’s finest golf courses. It has over 3 years of proven experience in offering its members a new dimension of golf challenge beyond expectation. The course was designed by one of the world’s most renowned architects Mr. Ron M. Garl. Once he set foot on the 770-rai (about 300 acres) flat open land of today’s Alpine Golf Club, the architect’s vision was to build Thailand’s one and only man-made hilly championship golf course. The course designer came up with carrying out the impossible task of building grass-covered hills on the vast flatlands, topped by hundreds of hand-picked trees and refined with high-grade sand. All these were aimed to introduce golfers to many unexpected golf challenges at Alpine Golf Club.
